Post-Keynesian Observations

Understanding the Macroeconomy

Still no updates!

Working like crazy on the college undergraduate research festival and the paper I have to have finished by May 1 (not to mention the regular stuff I am supposed to do). I just haven’t had time to work up anything for this, though I have the skeleton of a forecast complete.

  1. That’s okay Romm. The recession/depression isn’t going to go away anytime soon, so I’m sure that when you get to it it will still be fresh and relevant.

Good luck with your real-life stuff.

Oh say, what do you think of the economist Stanley Zin — at least I think it’s Stanley.

He’s been on the CBC lately doing quite a bit of prognosticating on the recession and painting some very dark pictures. I’m aftraid he’s strongly anti-American, in the sense that he blames almost the entire global financial problem on the US. He’s very much a Keynsian though, so you might like what he has to say if you’ve heard (of) him.

    Cheers.
